Situation
When I pressed harder on the accelrator ,The engine speed did not get high smoothly with hunting,
when I shifted in seconds from 3000rpm. Idles was properly.

Cause
Faulty Ignition coils.

Maintenance
It did not work properly after I cheked spark plugs , HT leads ,air flow meter and air cleaner.
Althogh I cleaned the throttle body.
Then I checked the ignition coils and found that there were cracks on the base of coils and leaked from it.
I exchanged new ignition coils.
After that the engine speed got high smoothly.

Toyota Hilux Surf RZN185 Idles Erratically

Situation
The engine did not run smoothly at an idle.

Cause
Faulty Air flow Meter

Maintenance
Diagnosis noticed that card 31 it was faulty of the air flow meter.
Then I took off it and cleaned. but It worked worse than befor.
After that I judged that the air flow meter was faulty.
The engine run smoothly after I changed a new air flow meter.

Situation
The engine stalled at an idle.

Cause
Faulty ISCV (idling speed control valve).

Maintenance
Diagnosis and fuel compression were properly.
The engine speed got high smoothly.
I thought that ISCV was faulty and checked it.
It worked properly but the head of the ISCV was dirty with sludge.
Then I cleaned it .
After that It worked properly.

It couldn't be put on the Over Drive switch and not iluminated.

Cause
Disconnecting wiring in the selector lever.

Maintenance
I disassemble the selector lever.
Then I repaired the wiring.
After that it could be put on the over drive switch.

Toyota Corona ST190 ABS Lamp Lit

Situation
ABS warning light iluminated.

Cause
Faulty front right Speed sensor

Maintenance
Diagnosis noticed that the front right speed sensor was faulty.
When I measured voltage of the sensor, it was out of average level.
Then I exchanged new speed sensor.
After that it worked properly.

Situation
The engine speed did not get high smoothly with hunting.

Cause
Faulty Ignition coils

Maintenance
At first I changed new spark plugs and new HT leads.
Then the engine worked properly on a temporarily.
After 1 month it happend again.
This engine was used concurrently ignition coils system.
So I judged that sparks were leaking in the ignition coils.
I exchanged new ignition coils.

Situation
ABS warning light illuminated.

Cause
Disconnecting front left decompression solenoid valve in the ABS hydro unit.

Maintenance
Diagnosis noticed cord24 that was fault of the front left decompression valve.
Then I looked into it by service manual.
Firstly I pulled off valve relay and checked electric continuity.
One of the cable was infinite.
I judged that this was the cause.
Thean I changed a new ABS hydro unit.
After that it worked properly.

The key was not pulled off from the ignition switch.

Cause
Faulty Shiftrock control unit (computer).

Situation
The heater did not work suddnly.

Cause
Faulty Air Conditioning Amp(Computer)

Maintenance
A/C switch turned off automatically when I turned on the A/C switch .
Also I turned off the ignition switch and turned on it again.
It happend when the heater blower motor did not work.
I looked into it by maintenance manual.
Then I took off the combination meter, and exchanged the amp where it was back left .
After that it worked properly.

Situation
The engine did not work at all.

Cause
It was improved after I had exchaged the distributor ASSY.

Maintenance
Sparks, Fuel pressure, Cylinder compressions were all properly.
One of the pickup coil in the distributor was substantially out of average level of resistance.
Then I exchanged it a secondhand distributor.

Big sludge attatched the platinum hot wire of the air flow meter.
Then I cleaned it with partcleaner.
After that the engine speed get high smoothly.

Faulty Brake actuator ASSY

Maintenance
Diagnosis noticed that wiring disconnecting of ABS motor relay.
Brake fruid leaked off when I took off the connector of  the brake actuator.
After I exchaged it a new brake actuator , it become properly.

Situation
Idling speed was properly.
The engine stalled when engine speed got high on accelration when it was cold.

Cause
Dirty ISCV (idle speed cotrol  valve)

Maintenance
I took off the ISCV and cleaned it.
The lane of water was clogged by carbon sludgees.
Then I cleaned ISCV.
It worked properly.

Situation
The meter fuse blew out when ignition switch turn on IN.

Cause
Short out Inhibitor Switch

Maitenance
Firstly I took off associated parts of connectors but The cause didn't change.
Then I checked in the engine room, I found that wiring touched a bracket of radiator subtank.
I used wiring diagram and found out the Inhibitor switch wiring blow out.
I repaired the inhibitor switch wiring.

Cause
Dirty AAC valve.

At first the idling speed did not get high when I put on the air conditioner .
Because of this , I judged that AAC valve did not work.
Then I took off the AAC valve and cleaned it.

Cause
Faulty Cylinder Pressure Sensor

Maintenance
The Cylinder compressions were properly.
Then I checked diagnosis . It noticed P1105:36 which meant faulty Cylinder pressure sensor.
It was at the No1 cylinder. I needed to replace it SST.

I replaced the new cylinder pressure sensor.

Cause
Faulty Over Drive switch.

Maintenance
Diagnosis was properly.

The car didn't run to shift at over drive range after I disconnected solenoid connector of O/D.

Then I judged that O/D switch was faulty.

I changed new Over Drive switch.

Mazda Demio Mazda2 DW3W Hold Lamp Blink

Situation
Hold indicator lamp blinked on and off.
The engine hesitated on acceleration.
Diagnosis noticed P0500 which indicate speed sensor.

Cause
Faulty Speed Sensor

Maintenance
Firstly I checked diagnosis system , It noticed P0500( Speed Sensor).
Then I rotated front tiyers by hand , checked voltage of Speed sensor at ECU 3T terminal.
The voltage was erratically , not 5V constantly.
Then I judged that Speed sensor was faulty and changed new Speed sensor.

It become properly.

Nissan Mistral R20 E/G Difficult to start

Situation
Glow plug lamp cleared after it illuminated for about 3 seconds.
then the engine was difficult to start.

Cause
Not on board glow plug system on the reimporting Mistrals.

Maintenance
At first I checked water sensor for glow system.
then checked voltage of after glow , It was not power voltage.
When I found out it ,  it come out that reimported Mistral didn't have gloe system.
Then I installed glow plug system.The Engine become easy to start.

Situation
The car sometime exhaust about 8% of carbon monoxide . It was erratically.

Cause
Changed the air flow meter,

Maitenance
Diagnosis was properly. The water sensor was properly.
There was incorrect signal at the air floe meter.

I changed a new air flow meter.

Suzuki Escudo Vitara TD01W Rough Idling

Situation
The engine didn't run smoothly at an idle.

Cause
Trouble spark plug cables

Maintenance
I found that Spark was leaking from No3 HT lead in the plug hole ,
When I did power balance test.

I exchanged all new HT leads.

Mitsubishi Pajero V44WG ABS Lamp lit

Situation
ABS Warning lamp often lit.

Cause
It got properly after changed ECU, althogh I didn't find fault.

Maintenance
At first I checked diagnosis system, It showed No43.
This was defect of the actuator.
Although there were voltage at the terminal of  solenoid on the ECU.
Then I jadged that ECU had been problem.

I changed used ECU.

Honda CR-V RD1 White Smoke

Situation
Air conditioner gas from the engine room during running.

Cause
I changed the cooling fan motor after Inspected the cooling system.

Maintenance
Firstly the water were leaking from the upper radiator.

Then exchnged a rebuilt radiator , but The cooling fan didn't run when I accelrated high.

After that Air conditioner gas spout out from the safty valve of the aircon compressor.

This was white smoke from the engine.

I change the cooling fan motor.

Situation
The engine made a funny noise while idling.

Cause
Exchanged new valves.

Maintenance
Engine oil didn't add to No1 cam when I saw in the engine.
The car was not often changed the oil.

It might make many sludges in the engine. 

I flushed with the oil and exchanged new valves.
